Privacy notice
2026-08-10
This notice describes how personal data is handled on frigostar-comfort.com. The online shops operated by Vrec-Co Zrt. (vrec-co.hu, frigostar-comfort.hu) are covered by a separate notice.
1. Who processes your data
Controller: Vrec-Co Zrt., 6763 Szatymaz, Kossuth Lajos u. 12., Hungary.
Company registration number: 06-10-000624 · Tax number: 32721485-2-06.
For data protection matters: info@frigostar-comfort.com, +36 30 387 9663.
A data protection officer is not required and has not been appointed.
2. Partner applications
If you submit the partner application form, we process the following: company name, country, contact name, email address, type of application, and the free-text message you write.
Purpose: assessing the application, contacting you, and conducting the discussion about a possible partnership.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Where no cooperation follows, our legitimate interest in keeping the contact record applies (Article 6(1)(f)).
Retention: if a partnership is established, for its duration plus the applicable limitation period. If not, two years from the last contact, after which we delete the record.
After submission we send a confirmation to the address you gave, and an internal notification goes to our colleague. Delivery is handled by Twilio Inc. (SendGrid) — see section 7.
Please use the free-text field for business information relevant to the application only, and do not include special categories of data (health, religion, political views and the like).
3. Contact by email or telephone
If you write or call using the details we publish, we process the data contained in that correspondence (name, email address, phone number, and the content of your enquiry) in order to answer it and close the matter.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
Retention: two years from closing the matter, or for the duration of a business relationship.
We also record this correspondence in our customer relationship system (CRM). For messages sent to and from `info@frigostar-comfort.com` we store the sender and recipient, the time, the subject and the message text, filed alongside the partner or lead record. The purpose is to keep earlier discussions traceable so that you do not have to repeat yourself.
The mailbox is provided by Microsoft 365. Only that shared company mailbox is read, never our colleagues' personal mailboxes.
We also keep the attachments that belong to this correspondence in the customer relationship system where they form part of it — a quotation, a contract, a technical drawing, a photograph. Files larger than 10 MB are not stored separately: for those we record only the file name and size, and the file itself stays in the mailbox. Images embedded in signatures (logos, signature graphics) are not kept. Attachments follow the same retention period as the messages.
4. Server logs
The server hosting this site logs access as a matter of normal operation. Logs contain the IP address, timestamp, requested address and browser user agent.
Purpose: operating the service, troubleshooting, and defending against abuse and denial-of-service attempts.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the service securely (Article 6(1)(f)).
Retention: at most 30 days, after which logs are overwritten automatically.
5. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. There are no marketing or statistics cookies, no remarketing pixels and no social media embeds.
That is why you are not shown a cookie consent banner.
If we introduce audience measurement in future, it will be a cookieless solution that does not identify you individually — and this notice will be updated before it goes live.
One technical exception: after you submit a partner application, we briefly store one item in your browser's session storage so that the thank-you page can hand you the download link for the partner pack. It is not a cookie, it does not identify you, it never leaves your browser, and it is deleted when the thank-you page opens — at the latest when you close the tab. It is strictly necessary for the service you explicitly requested, so it does not require consent.
6. Profiling and automated decisions
We do not carry out profiling, and we take no decision producing legal effects concerning you based solely on automated processing.
7. Who has access to your data
Within Vrec-Co Zrt., only staff who need the data to do their work have access to it.
The following act as processors:
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365): hosting of the website and the server, and the company mailbox service, in a data centre within the European Union.
- TeamCollab Solutions Kft.: development, operation and maintenance of the website and the systems behind it.
- Twilio Inc. (SendGrid): delivery of the application confirmation and the internal notification. It receives only what delivering the message requires: recipient, subject and message body.
Data from partner applications is stored in Vrec-Co Zrt.'s own customer relationship system, which runs on the same hosting.
We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Transfers outside the EU
Data is processed primarily within the European Union.
Message delivery is the exception: Twilio Inc. (SendGrid) is a United States provider. The transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses agreed with the provider, and covers only what delivering the message requires.
9. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Server access is limited to identified, authorised people and is logged.
10. Your rights
You may at any time request:
- confirmation of whether we hold data about you and, if so, access to it;
- rectification of inaccurate data;
- erasure of your data;
- restriction of processing;
- your data in a portable format;
- and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Write to info@frigostar-comfort.com. We respond within one month at the latest, free of charge.
11. Complaints
If you believe our processing is unlawful, please contact us first. Most questions are resolved fastest that way.
You may also complain to the supervisory authority: Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest, Hungary · postal address 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9 · ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu · +36 1 391 1400 · www.naih.hu.
You may also bring court proceedings, which can be started before the court of your place of residence.
12. Changes to this notice
If the way we process data changes, we update this notice before the change goes live and state the date of the update.
